‘2nd of Nov 1945 Completed to deliver him to the Allied Forces’

Pretty much the standard stuff. One thing that stands out is the date of 2nd November when handed over to Allied Forces. The formal surrender of Singapore was 12th September about a month after the actual cessation of hostilities. So Des was in Changi for a further 8 weeks – Mountbatten took over… I’ll bet that was an interesting time?
